Trak-Bud is a sawmill in Brzozów that produces structural timber and roof trusses, builds timber structures and delivers to the site. I designed its website: a home page with the services, six products, common questions and a gallery, pages about the company and the offer, and a contact page with a form for quotes.

Notes
A sawmill sells to people who already know what they need: a roof truss to a drawing, squared timber of a given length, boards. So the home page works like a counter. It says what the sawmill produces, shows the six products as photographs with a line each, and answers the questions that come before every order. A red button for a quote sits in the top corner of every page. The look is dark and plain, with wood as the only decoration.

Design decision
A quote that starts with the drawing
Timber is cut to a project, so a price needs dimensions. The list of questions says so first: yes, the sawmill works from a drawing or a list of materials. The form then asks what the enquiry is about, prompts for dimensions, quantities and a date, and takes a file, so the drawing arrives with the first message.
The questions that come before an order.
The form takes a file with the enquiry.
